Team Challenge Cup in Sport Business Journal​, 2015

    To finish out their 2015 season, US Figure Skating tested a new team-focused scoring format. The top figure skaters from around the world gathered in Spokane, Washington and competed on an international stage for an exciting new take on the sport.

 

    In collaboration with the the Creative Director, athlete footage was captured at practice facilities and combined with practical visual effects from a high-concept studio shoot to create Opening Segments for NBC Broadcasts, as well as teases, athlete profiles and recaps. All broadcast production staff were given custom elements for a live-to-tape overnight edit for broadcast the next day.

 

    Van Wagner was also responsible for all arena graphics, stat pages, lower 3rds, outdoor video boards and LED ribbons.
